Support The Antigua Project

To continue our project in more depth, we will be traveling back Antigua in May 2017 to collaborate once again with the artisans. Our goal is to set up an online marketplace so that the collective of weavers affiliated with the textile museum will be able to photograph and post images of their crafts and sell them. This would provide revenue for the weavers and revenue for the museum.

Currently our collaborating artisans rely on Museum gift shop sales with the bulk of their sales made during University speaking engagements in the US. They do not currently have any kind of online marketplace to sell their goods. What we hope to provide is all components necessary to create a professional E-commerce website for the artisan work and the products from our collaboration. In order to implement this plan we need funding to start up the business.
